Initially, I decided to try a raw foods diet because I was feeling tired and just out of sorts. This has been a chronic problem for me over the past several years. I’ve been a vegetarian for most of my life, and found some relief when I switched to a vegan diet a couple of years ago. But I still didn’t feel great. After ruling out some of the most obvious issues (anemia, protein issues, not enough exercise), a friend suggested I try this great new raw foods diet developed by Yuri Elkaim: Eating for Energy.
Although there are a lot of different ways to start a raw foods diet, I found this ebook to be exceeding clear and simple to follow. It contained great recipes and tips to help you stay on the diet and actually enjoy your foods. The books also contains a wealth of information about the benefits of raw foods diets. One of the most valuable portions of the book for me was the 12-week plan to transition to a raw foods diet. For many, this transition is hard, and Yuri knows this which is why he created a plan to make this transition as easy as possible.
