Raw Food Books
I’m focusing this page on raw food books that are available instantly for download and reading. For those interested in changing to a raw foods lifestyle, there are many excellent ebooks available that allow you to immediately gain access to the materials and resources they have available. Many ebooks come with additional bonuses as well, that you don’t get from print books, such as audio and video files.
I recently surveyed several different raw food books available online. I found three selections that I think are the best currently available:
1. EATING FOR ENERGY by Yuri Elkaim is my TOP PICK from all the raw food books I surveyed.
Although there are a lot of different raw diet books available, I found this one to be exceeding clear and simple to follow. It also has great endorsements and testimonials backing it up, and contains some wonderful raw foods recipes and tips that help you stay on your diet while enjoying your foods.
The book also contains a wealth of information about the benefits of a raw food diet, including a lot of scientific evidence for those who are skeptical. I found one of the most valuable portions of the book for me to be the 12-week plan that helps you transition to a raw foods diet. For many new raw foodists, this transition can be hard, and this plan helps make this transition as easy as possible.
Besides the ebook itself (”Eating for Energy”) and the 12-week transitional meal plan, you’ll also receive many additional bonuses and materials, including a nutrition for athletes guide, many easy to prepare raw food recipes pamphlets, a smoothie and juice guide, several audio recordings about the raw food lifestyle to listen on your MP3 player, and weekly motivational e-reports to keep you on your raw food diet. You get all of this for only $39, but there is also a more advanced package, that has many additional printed reports plus a whole raw food video series that covers the basics of raw food preparation for $97 (well over $1000 value). The advanced package really has everything you need to transition to a raw foods diet successfully. Click Here to Learn More About the Eating for Energy eBook!
2. The RAW FOOD DIET BLUEPRINT is my second choice of all the online books surveyed.
What I really like about this book is how it is written with a focus on making raw foods diets accessible for everybody – including those who have quite busy lifestyle or are older and know little about nutrition (check out the author’s video interview with his mother, for example). It is also geared towards those who may not want to pursue a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle, or who are looking for the maximum amount of results from a raw food diet without necessarily eating raw foods all the time. It covers all the essential basics of switching to a raw foods diet, and the book is also quite affordable, at only $37 (and it comes with many great bonus features as well). 3. THE HEALTH EVOLUTION: GETTING STARTED WITH A RAW FOODS DIET by Michael Synder is my final recommendation.
Sometimes called the “boot camp” approach to a raw foods diet, this book created by renowned raw foods chef Michael Synder is best for those who have already made the decision to change to a raw foods diet completely. This book is an intensive training course all about raw foods, and is best for those looking to pursue a 100% raw foods diet (or nearly). Unapologetic and intense, it is the best choice for those who want to transition immediately (and easily) to a raw foods diet. The cost? $47 (plus several bonuses).
