Hummus is one of my favorite foods to eat, and I’m glad there is this excellent raw version available. I love to make hummus sandwiches with this, and to use it as a dip for raw veggies. This is also an exceedingly easy recipe to make!
1 cup of garbanzo beans (chickpeas) soaked overnight
Juice from one lemon
1 clove garlic, minced well
2 T raw tahini
1 t cumin
Optional: salt and cayenne pepper to taste
Put all ingredients into a blender with a little water. Blend well, adding water until it is at the desired consistency.
